What Buffy the Vampire Slayer has in common with the Scooby-Doo cartoon

I have always loved watching Scooby-Doo and after watching BTVS for some time now I have noticed that both shows share a number of things in common with each other. But wait Buffy's live action and Scooby is a cartoon, so this is my opinion ok. Buffy is mainly for teens, but anyone can watch it. Scooby is for kids but anyone can watch it. Buffy has horror, drama,& comedy in the show; while Scooby has comedy& mystery in the cartoon. Buffy always saves the day on the show; Daphne needs saving on the Scooby-Doo cartoon sometimes. Giles leads Buffy&co. in their fight against evil but Giles does not know the gangs personal problems; Fred leads the gang in solving mysteries but doesn't know what going on in the cartoon. Xander is always making jokes about monsters on the show; Shaggy is making jokes before the monsters come after him. Willow is the smart one on Buffy; Velma is the smart one on Scooby-Doo. Buffy has the cute and lovable Oz; Scooby-Doo has the cute and lovable Scooby-Doo. Both Cordy & Buffy have a great fashion sense on the show; Daphne has a great fashion sense the cartoon. Buffy&co. hang out at the end of the show; Scooby and the gang hang out at the end of each cartoon.
